1800 miles sure can wear and tear on the body. Living in Tennessee and having a practice back in Arizona can sure take a toll on the body. I always feel invincible. Full of life, full of energy and always looking for the next challenge to help someone with their health issues. I guess I need a reality check to realize I’m not getting any younger, and that I need to be nicer to my body. Coming back from Arizona I was trying to hurry home to surprise Billy Bob for Father’s Day. My girls and I drove 16 hour days. The funny thing is…. I know the body needs lots of hydration and nutrition, but with rest areas far and few in between, drinking lots of water wasn’t a priority!
Well, to make a long ride home and story short….My two daughters and I arrived home in time to celebrate Fathers Day. It was a great night.
Next morning….uggg. Why does my lower back hurt? Why am I sweating so bad? I can hardly move!!! Kidney Stones? Not me!!! I’m too healthy for this! Ha Ha. Having a baby was a breeze compared to passing stones. At least when you’re in labor you can opt for a Epidural. Maci my daughter walked in on me and knew I was hurting pretty bad. ( I’m not pill popping person, I usually just grab some kind of potion that I have on hand, or use one of my balms.) Anyways, she simply said…go make you some Kidney support Tea. Thank you for your advice, and when I can stand up and walk I’ll go do that:)
I think all of us are hard on ourselves. We go 24/7 and hardly stop to rest. We take our bodies for granted, until one day, the body stops to rebel. It’s so easy to get dehydrated. It’s amazing how our body needs water. This was a great lesson for me to learn. No matter how hard your schedule is, you still need to take time for yourself. Slow down and cherish your surroundings. Stop and smell the roses. And most of all…..always stop at the water cooler and feel up!
My regimen for today”s mishap is as follows: I hope no one has to experience the pain of Kidney Stones.
Vitality Balm: Great product for Kidney support. Natural Diuretic. I rubbed it on lower area of body to get fast dermal delivery. It’s my skin elixir!
A.M. Pain Balm: I rubbed all over lower back. I have been applying it every 2 to 3 hours. It has stopped my pain on contact.
P.M. Pain Balm: I will rub this all over lower back tonight. It helps with pain, but also helps muscles to relax and sleep so no tossing and turning will be going on. I will sleep good tonight.
Kidney Tea Support: 1 part Gravel Root 1 part Dandelion Root 1 part Uva Ursi 1 part Butchers Broom 1 part Nettles 2 parts Cornsilk 1 part Cleavers 1 part Juniper Berries 2 parts Peppermint
Pour boiling water over herbs and let sit for 20 to 30 mins. Drink 8 oz of tea mixture every hour. Drinking Cranberry Juice 100% is great too.
Cheers with Best Wishes, Janell
